Problem Formulation Convening on Experiential Jewish Education at Camp

The CASJE PFC on Experiential Education at Jewish Camp will be a day-long conversation exploring opportunities for research in the field of Jewish camping. It will involve a wide range of partners including front-line practitioners in Jewish camping, researchers interested in studying Jewish experiences and learning in camp, and foundations that support the field. Our goal is to identify important issues and questions that can serve as the basis for a program of applied research for the field of Jewish camping. In particular, we are interested in exploring the “Jewish impact” of camp, and the role experiential learning, including friendships, can have on Jewish outcomes.
